Will a Wisteria grow inside under office lighting?

I have seen this advertising http://www.amazon.com/Grow-Your-Bonsai-Rock-Garden/dp/B000Q3ZPSI and I 'd love to convince him to grow in my cubicle. I 'd aversion to buy only to find out that it won' t spread with the circumstances of the lighting in flourescent, 'tho. All gardeners out there have any advice? I 'm a gardener of the beginner (I started to grow a Chia pet as soon as this week.)

Don’t think that will work. I can tell you if you plant it outside, it grows rampant. I have had one for 3 years and it has grown like crazy. It has spreas across my privacy fence 15 feet one direction and 20 the other, and that is with me cutting it back drastically so it doesn’t kill my neighbor’s red bud tree. This year is the first time it has bloomed. I cannot imagine either a pot large enough or cubicle big enough for a wisteria.

You can see from this link that wisteria is an outdoor plant. Trying to grow it inside will be denying it the habitat and seasonal changes it needs to thrive. Bottom line: Bad idea to try to grow it indoors. Check out the indoor plants on this site for more viable plants.

No. Wisteria have to be outside to grow; and they can be difficult at that.
