What should i do in a home office where the desk is facing away from the door (back facing door)?

I'm trying to learn more about the feng shui. I live in an apartment where there is built in desk that I am using for my trade. Is there anything that can used to repay the act of using this feng shui.

    You could put a screen in the direct path of the door with something that hangs from the ceiling by it (windchimes, lantern, etc.) Or put a plant in front of the screen. Feng Shui just seems like common sense. You don’t want to sit unprotected in front of a doorway. You don’t want big, clunky trash stuff blocking up spaces. If people have to walk around something, it is better feng shui because it is more confusing for the negative spirits or something. I don’t know all the ins and outs, just that you don’t want things in a direct line through your house EVER.
