What can I use to lubricate an office chair that won’t stop working in a couple months?

I 'VE got the chair of recordable. Every few months, when I slowly back stride. WD40 sprayed in problem areas and it ''s resolved, but it comes back pretty quickly. What could provide a more long term?

Jack is right, of course. Just don’t get the “butter kind” it stinks. the smell will waft for months. eeiiiickkkk.

You could use a silicone spray as it lubricates without leaving any long term residue.
