Need ideas for home office desk?

I would transform a bedroom into a Ministry of Interior. Eather The room has a window or a door on each wall. My thought was to do a desk against one of the top fermica. I would like to be "L" shaped. You can buy a ceiling that remarks like those or should be cut?

Check with your local home improvement store. I think it would have to be cut, but there’s the possibility that they may have seconds that were cut for a specific job and then didn’t fit that you could use. If the windows don’t come down too far on the wall, you could put the desk underneath them. In years past, I made a nice desk using two 2-drawer file cabinets and a hollow core door that was cheap because they’d drilled the hole for the door knob in the wrong place. I put the hole to the back and used it for routing computer cables up from underneath.
